Our Guest Speaker for the Webinar is Ms. Poorvi Satija, an International Arbitration Lawyer and an Associate at White & Case LLP based in Paris, France.
About The Speaker:
Ms. Poorvi, has been involved as a coach and arbitrator in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot competition for years. Since 2017, she has also been coaching teams for the IBA-VIAC CDRC Vienna Mediation and Negotiation Competition.
Ms Poorvi graduated with a BA LLB degree from NALSAR University, Hyderabad in 2013 and pursued LLM in Dispute Resolution from Harvard Law School and is currently residing in Paris, France.
About the Topic:
Most Favored Nations (MFN) clauses are common in Bilateral Investment Treaties. However it has been a subject of varied interpretations by treaty-based arbitral tribunals. Through this webinar, the society aims to provide a better understanding about MFN in Bilateral Investment Treaties.
