Visit of Chief of Field Office, UNICEF Odisha to NLUO on 30th January, 2019

Dr. Monika Oldedzka Nielsen, Chief, Field Office, UNICEF, Odisha made visit to NLUO, Cuttack on 30th January 2019 and discussed about the ongoing activities of the  Centre for Child Rights and future collaboration between UNICEF and NLUO to strengthen academic excellence,  research, and advocacy on child rights issues. At the sideline of the visit, Dr. Monika has made interactive discussion with faculties, students of clinical legal education of juvenile justice and child labour, and students committee of CCR regarding issues and challenges of child rights programmes in India. Among others, Prof. Srikrinsha Deva Rao, Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Aruna Srilaxmi, Chairperson Academic Coordination Committee, NLUO, Mr. Laxminaryan Nanda, Child Protection Specialist, UNICEF and Ms. Enkashi Ganguly, HAQ- Centre for Child Rights were present in the discussion.
