NLUO wins the prestigious 11th WB NUJS- HSF National Corporate Law Moot Court Competition 2019

National Law University Odisha wins the prestigious 11th WB NUJS- HSF National Corporate Law Moot Court Competition 2019 and has continued its legacy in the Mooting Arena of Law Schools in India.

The moot court competition is organized by the West Bengal National University of Juridical Science, in collaboration with Herbert Smith Freehills, a well-reputed International law firm.

The National Law University Odisha team was represented by Ashirbad Nayak, Sridutt Mishra, and Darshan Borana. The team faced National Law Institute University, Bhopal in the final rounds which was judged by a panel of judges comprising of  Mr. Chris Parsons (Partner and Chairman of HSF India group), Mr. Nicholas Peacock (Partner and Head of India Disputes) and Ms. Shruti Rajan (Partner, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and Class of 2007, NUJS).

This victory has added another feather in the list of achievements that National Law University, Odisha has recorded in the year of 2018-19. A lot of appreciation goes to the Faculty-in-charge (The Moot Court Society) and the Vice- Chancellor of the University for their guidance and constant support to the students.
