“NLUO Shines at Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, Vienna, 2021.”

 

The team comprising Ananya Satish, Darshit Siddhabhatti, Priyank Shukla, Ritika Mathur, Shaivi Nihal Shah and Yashvardhan Singh has been adjudged Quarterfinalists (top 8 teams out of 387 participating teams) and has received Honorable Mention for Eric E. Bergsten Award for Best Team Orals at the 28th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, Vienna, 2021.

 

The team has juggernauted through Round of 64, Round of 32 and Round of 16 to achieve this feat and record the best performance of National Law University Odisha at Vis Vienna thus far.

 

Additionally, the team was also awarded an Honorable Mention for Pieter Sanders Award for Best Written Memorandum for Claimant.
