“IDIA Odisha Conducted Amalgam: a Creative Expressions Competition.”

 

IDIA Odisha has been actively functioning for more than 5 years now and has been striving hard to achieve the targets set by IDIA.  After organizing a series of successful events, The social media and fundraising team of IDIA conducted its flagship event, AMALGAM, the legal creative writing competition. The preparations for this event had already commenced in the previous semester and it was concluded in the month of April, 2021. Despite the limitations posed by the COVID-19 lockdown, due to which our major yearly sponsors had suffered losses, we managed to raise a sum of over Rs. 30,000/-. The event saw huge participation where creative writers from all over the country put their thinking caps on and participated in competitions like poetry and drama writing, fiction and prose. All of this collectively led to the event becoming a huge success and consequently contributed towards the greater cause of IDIA as the proceeds from this event assisted in the education of various law aspirants from across the country.
