9th April, 2019: Informal Discussion Group NLUO to host 19th Guest Lecture by Ms. Flavia Agnes.

Informal Discussion Group, NLUO are delighted to inform that Ms. Flavia Agnes would be coming to our university on 9th April 2019 as a part of the Lecture series conducted by the Informal Discussion Group.

Ms. Flavia Agnes is a women’s rights lawyer, a national award-winning filmmaker and the co-founder of “MAJLIS”, a legal and cultural resource centre. She began working in the field of women rights since 1980’s and from 1988 onwards, she has been a practising lawyer in the Mumbai High Court. She also advises the government on law implementation and currently advises the Ministry of Women and Child Development in Maharashtra.
