6th February, 2019: Cultural evening for Law and Justice Programme with Australian students

On the 6th February evening, the cultural committee hosted Law and Justice programme for the Australian exchange students.

This was as an effort to demonstrate the variance of cultures within India. The show was a little over 40 minutes long and was attended by Professor Darrly and his students from Australia and NLUO.

The program started with Khushi Bhardwaj singing the popular Celine Dion number “My Heart will go on”. This was followed by Rasmani’s Kathak performance. Her grace and grasp of rhythm enthralled the audience. This was followed by Amartya Shreya and Aryan’s semi classical acoustic number. After this Ashwini gave a soul stirring rendition of “Mohay rang do laal”. This was topped off by Sukanya’s rendition of the Ganesh sloka.

This wasn’t it. After Sukanya’s performance, the girls from the first year performed a fusion dance, which got everyone cheering in unison.

The show was closed by impromptus beat boxing by Aniraj Tudu and a melodious song by Astha Jain. The evening effectively brought out the diversity in India.
