Brief Biographical Note: Mr. Kumarjeeb Pegu presently works as an Assistant Professor of Law at NLUO. Before joining the Institution, he worked with KIIT School of Law, Bhubaneswar. He completed his under-graduation from S.G.T.B. Khalsa College, North Campus, University of Delhi, in B.A Political Science (Hons). During his study, he was adjudged the ‘Best All-rounder’ in his academic batch and awarded the S. Mohinder Singh Memorial Scholarship Award. He attained LL.B from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi. During his time at the Institution, he worked actively as a member of its Legal Aid Society and also served as the ‘Public Relations Secretary’, Counseling and Welfare Cell for the Northeastern States for the year 2013-14. Also, he has completed his LL.M from Nalsar Law University, Hyderabad. Academically, his primary interest lies in the area of Indigenous Peoples and Rights, environmental law, international law, and allied papers mainly from the domain of public international law, international institutions, etc. He is an avid nature traveler and seeker of diverse cultures and interactions.
